EverYuth Naturals Skin Balance Face Wash Review

-->

EverYuth Naturals Skin Balance Face Wash Review

Hi Everyone

This review is about the new EverYuth Naturals Skin Balance Face Wash which is recently launched.

I bought this along with three other EverYuth face washes from Big Bazaar.
(I like to shop in Bulk.)

And since this was a purple colour tube, which is my favourite colour, I instantly got attracted to it.

Also the grapes picture on the tube is very cute, so I put in my basket.

Plus it’s quite reasonably priced for the given quantity.

I thought it might be similar to Lacto Calamine Deep cleansing Face Wash.

But this EverYuth one doesn’t even come to that level.

Let me give you the product specifications first, so you have a better idea about the product.

Price & QuantityRs. 50 for 50 grams

Packaging - White & purple plastic tube with transparent white screw cum flip cap.

Fragrance - It smells of grapes, the fragrance is mild but artificial.

My skin type – combination (Normal to oily)

Consistency and Texture This is a purple coloured gel face wash with medium consistency

Please read on to know more about my experience with this product:

My HG face washes are clean & clear and Avon Tea tree & rosemary face wash.

I really love them; however I’m that kind of person who gets bored with stuff pretty easily.

And my skin being oily I can’t experiment much with creams but only with face wash & scrubs.

So whenever I see something interesting, I pick it up on impulse.

I wanted to try EverYuth Naturals Skin Balance Face Wash since it contains grape extract which is a good anti oxidant.

I’m just 25 but already into that anti ageing care thing.

EverYuth Naturals Skin Balance Face Wash does lather much, just medium lather, I would say.

I lather it with water in my hands first & then apply it on my face, Otherwise it’s a struggle.

Also it does smell of grapes, but the fragrance is not at all natural.

Function wise, I feel it’s a gentle cleanser, which should be suitable in winters & for dry, normal & non problematic skin.

It does not do anything for acne or tone pores, not that it claims to.

Overall its an ok, not so natural face wash, nothing great to rave about.

I think I’ll probably give it a miss next time & go for quality face washes.

How to use:

  • Squeeze a small quantity onto palm.
  • Work up lather & gently massage on your face.
  • Rinse with water & pat your skin dry.
  • Use two or three times a day.

Pros of EverYuth Naturals Skin Balance Face Wash:

  • Did not cause any breakouts or irritation.
  • Dirt cheap & easily available.
  • Is washed off easily with water

Cons of EverYuth Naturals Skin Balance Face Wash:

  • Does not deep clean.
  • Even though it’s supposed to be a natural product, it doesn’t feel natural on my skin.
  • Could not find any details on this online & not on their website as well. Maybe because this is newly launched, so I’m guessing I’m the first one to write a review on this.
  • No granules or scrubbing beads (that a con from me, I’m in love with all the scrub face washes)
  • Contains Sodium Lauyl Sulfate

My Rating2 out of 5

Will I repurchaseNo, I’ll try other face washes meant for oily skin.

Would I recommendyes but only to those who have dry & normal skin & if you h
ave a limited budget.

Have you used EverYuth Naturals Skin Balance Face Wash or any of their other variants?

Do let me know your experience in the comments section.

I’m very curios to know if this is anyone’s HG face wash.

Onabet Medicated Anti-Dandruff Shampoo Review

-->

Onabet Medicated Anti-Dandruff Shampoo Review

Today’s review is about Onabet Medicated Anti-Dandruff Shampoo, which I’ve been using since a month.
This was recommended by my dermatologist. After I complained that how nothing has helped in reducing my scalp itch.
I was using Richfeel Arnica Scalp Cleanser shampoo earlier.
I had severe Dandruff & itching Due to an allergic reaction to rebonding.(Curse the day when I went to that salon)
Richfeel Shampoo has helped my dandruff to a great extent, however the itchiness was still there, which is the most embarrassing thing.
Now let’s have a look at the product details first.

Composition:
Sertaconazole Nitrate – 2%
Zinc Pyrinthione 1%
Shampoo Base

Dosage - Use twice a week for four weeks, followed by once weekly as maintenance therapy or use as directed by the Physician.

Storage - Store below 25 degrees Celsius. Do not freeze.

Price & Quantity – Rs. 225 for 100 ml.

Consistency and Texture – it’s a brilliant Blue liquid with medium consistency.

Fragrance – Mild & pleasant, it will not irritate your sensitive nose for sure.

Packaging – It’s a dark green silvery bottle with white screw cum flip top. Very sturdy & due to its size quite travel friendly.

Review:
Even though I have severe dandruff, there are no flakes that I see on my clothes (Hurray).
It’s just the stupid itch that continued to harass me.
Imagine scratching your scalp like a monkey during an important Company meeting.
Onabet Shampoo is the only thing that has controlled my scalp’s itchiness.
I saw amazing results, just after 3 washes.
Infact, if I rate my itchiness after using Onabet, it reduced from 9 to 2. (Yes that much Difference for real)
I haven’t scratched my scalp in sometimes, will take time getting used it.
What more could I ask for.
However it doesn’t lather & foam very well, as it doesn’t contain Sodium lauryl sulfhate.
After suffering from severe dandruff for 5 long years, I had given up the dream of being dandruff free which seemed impossible.
However, this product has significantly upped my hope.
And I can proudly say that Onabet Shampoo has been my knight in shining armor.
Also this shampoo is recommended by dermatologists for Seborrhoeic Dermatitis.

Why I like Onabet:
Most effective dandruff shampoo I’ve ever tried, best for stubborn & chronic dandruff.
Easily available at all chemists.
Very effective in treating ichiness caused by dandruff.
Travel friendly size
Contains Sertaconazole Nitrate which is one of the strongest & most effective agent for severe dandruff & itchiness
No contain Sodium lauryl sulfhate

And why I hate Onabet:
Pricey – at least they should have given more quantity for the price paid. The bottle is so small. Since I wash my hair twice a week, it will get over in a month. Actually I’m used to the 500ml big shampoo bottles.
Since it’s meant for severe dandruff, it does dry out hair & make it frizzy. This can be dealt with by using a good conditioner which is a must. (I use dove)
Doesn’t latter much (Still effective cleans hair)

MY Rating – 6 out of 5

Will i repurchase – Definitely. Again & again & again every month.

Would I recommend – totally to all those people depressed with severe dandruff.
If you’ve tried everything & failed, pick this up & you may be pleasantly surprised.

If any of you guys have sever dandruff like me, or have severe dandruff itch, do let me know what helps you.

If you've had severe dandruff & itching, let me kno in the comments section, what helped you.

Nature's Essence Under Eye Cream Review

Today I'm going to review my first under eye cream that I've used With Potato & Almond Oil extracts.

What Nature's Essence Claims -
Potato based under eye cream that helps in reducing the under eye dark circles associated with ageing, stress & Environmental factors.
It also moisturizes the skin around the eyes.

Usage - Massage Eye area for 5 mins at night.Leave the cream overnight or wipe it off after 30 mins for desired results

Key Ingredients - Geranium oil, Lavender oil, Potato extracts, Cedar wood oil & Sesame oil.

My Experience:
 - This is a thick cream colored non-sticky cream which gets absorbed almost immediately.
It can be used as a good overnight massage Cream.
it almost feels like raw potato paste & works well to heavily moisturize eyes without any greasy feeling.

i have combination skin & normal skin around eyes.
Even though i run miles away from greasy creams, this one keeps me coming back to it.
For those who have oily eyelids, i would suggest use it at night or when you are at home.
Raw potato is very effective in lightening dark areas.
This cream does lighten dark circles but it takes time.
you need to religiously apply it everyday.
I suggest as many times as possible to see fast results.
I saw slight lightening after a month.

Price -  Rs. 80 for 40ml

Pros:
  • Effective
  • Dirt cheap with good quality offered, will last you almost a month.
  • You can also use it on other dark spots on your body like knees.

Cons:
  • Tub packaging, not very hygienic. although you can use a spatula.
  • No expiry date mentioned.
  • takes time to work
  • though it says that it contians Almond oil, thats nowhere in the ingredient list.
Overall its worth a try & not expensive.

Review:
Even though I have Normal skin. I prefer moisturizers meant for dry skin as my skin becomes dry in my AC office.
So I’m constantly on the lookout for thick greasy moisturisers.
Jergens Ultra Healing Extra Dry Skin Moisturizer turned out to be exactly the way I wanted.
It spreads easily but takes time to get absorbed.
I se it only when I’m sitting in my office & not otherwise.
Somehow I feel that the greasiness might get transferred to things I touch.
So at least for 15 minutes after applying this lotion, I don’t do anything.
I loved the fact that it keeps my skin well moisturised, as I use lotion only once a day.

Pros:
Suitable for extra dry & dry skin.
Extreme heavy duty moisturisation can be used on dry feet as well.

EverYuth Naturals Walnut & Apricot Scrub Review

-->

Hi this review is about EverYuth Naturals Walnut & Apricot Scrub.
FYI - EverYuth also has an ultra mild version of this scrub for sensitive skin.
But I’ll be reviewing the former, so don’t get confused.
First let’s have a look at the product details below:

What Everyuth claims:
Daily exposure to sun, dust and pollution can cause accumulation of dead skin cells, which damages your skin – making it dull and lifeless.
Routine cleansing is not enough to get rid of dead skin cells.
The exfoliating action of the New Everyuth Walnut Facial Scrub unclogs pores and gently scrubs away impurities, dead skin cells, blackheads and whiteheads – leaving your skin visibly smooth, fresh and healthy.

Price - Rs.150 for 200+20gms

Directions for use:
Wet your face, apply scrub and massage with upward circular movements for about 2 minutes.
Rinse and pat dry.
Avoid areas around the eyes.
For best results, scrub your face at least twice a week.
Ingredients - Water, Glyceryl Monostearate, Walnut Shell Powder, Liquid Paraffin, Cetostearyl Alcohol, Cetyl alcohol, IsoPropyl Alcohol, Sorbitol, Starch, Lanolin, Apricot Kernel Oil, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, Titanium Dioxide, Fragrance, Triethanolamine, Triclosan, Carbomer, Methyl Paraben, Vitamin E Acetate, Propyl Paraben, Ascorbic Acid, Color Sunset Yellow C.I.No. 15985, Vitamin A Palmitate
Walnut– Smoothen skin texture by removing dead skin cells and help regenerate new cells.

Apricot – Moisturizes skin, making it soft and supple.

Vitamins A, C and E - Antioxidants that protect your skin from the sun, pollution and premature aging.

My Experience with about EverYuth Naturals Walnut & Apricot Scrub:
This is the first ever face scrub that I bought 10 years ago and I’m still using it.
The granules are big & quite course, so I use it only once a week.
check the granules in the below swatch.

This is a cream scrub which moisturizes as well.
You can feel the moisture & hydration level in your skin, once you wash it off.
This is a good scrub for those looking for heavy scrubbing like me.
It has a pleasant, mild fragrance which does not linger for long.
It’s similar to the St.Ives Scrub.
Since I have oily skin, I use a face wash after using this scrub, so my face does not become oily.
I think this scrub would be more suitable for dry, normal & combination skin.
However, if you feel that your skin has become oily, simply wash it off with a face wash.

Pros:
Removes black and white heads effectively (if used after steaming face).
Does not dry skin after usage, leaves moisturisation.
Cheap
Can also be used as feet & body scrub, due to its course big granules.
Does not cause breakouts or irritate skin.

Cons:
Most abrasive out of all the scrubs available in the market. Although I’m not complaining, since I scrub only once a week.
May not suit sensitive skin, due to the abrasive nature.
May not suit oily skin, issue to its moisturizing properties. You can use a face wash post this, if u have oily skin or on your T-zone.

Will I repurchase: Definitely again & again & again.

Will I recommend: yes to those who have lots of deal cells, spots on their face, but only once or twice a week.

Let me know your experience & queries regarding this product in the comments section

Dove Deep Pure Face Wash Review

-->

My facial skin type – Combination (Oily T-Zone & normal)

Price & Quantity – Rs. 79 for 50g

Dove claims:
  • Deeply Cleansed & Translucent Skin
  • Dove’s new revolutionary micro-puff technology has invisibly fine & fluffy exfoliants that gently cleanse dirt and excessive sebum from clogged pores.
  • Rinsed off easily with water.

Texture- Creamy, silky & thick
The amount that you in the below picture can actually be used four times to wash face.

The first time I used this on my face, I could actually see the difference.
This claims to exfoliate & minimize pores even without the granules or micro beads.
And yes my pores were minimized to a noticeable level.
Although this is a creamy face wash, it does not leave a moisturizing film on face unlike other dove products.
Neither does it make your skin dry. Also no shiny or slippery cast is left behind.
However, since it deep cleans, skin looks instantly brightened.
The brightening effect is similar to that of fairness face washes.
Leaves my skin squeaky clean, which is the way I like it.
Overall it’s an ok face wash & it’s great at removing all oil & skin impurities

Pros:
  • Exfoliates & shrinks pores without any abrasive scrubbing
Very little amount is required for one wash, so the 50ml tube should do at least for 2 months.
  • Suitable for Oily, combination & normal skin.
  • Does not contain Sodium Laureth Sulfate
  • Does not leave behind any residue,
  • No stretchy dry feeling on face after washing
  • No foam, or bubbles but lathers really really well
  • Non irritant, didn’t cause any breakouts
  • Mild fragrance.

Cons:
Not suitable for Dry skin

Will I buy again – not really, I would like to stick to my HG face washes (Yes I have 2 of them. Lol)

Let me know your experience in the comments section if you have used this.

The Moisturisation stays on your feet even after having bath.

Ponds Oil Control Talc Review

Ponds Oil Control Talc Review

Hi Girls, this is my first review and it’s about Ponds Oil Control Talc.
First let me tell u I have combination skin with normal to Oily (Nose & sometimes forehead also)
I don’t use much creams on my face because nearly anything I put on my face makes it oily.

Price – Rs.45 for 100 grams

Key IngredientsSalicylic acid, Zinc Oxide (Sunscreen) & Talc.

So I never used talc. My friend was using it so I just tried it accidentally & realized it was great for a matte look. So Ponds Oil Control Talc has orange peel extracts & TPI-60 (Tan protection Index).
It also contains Salicylic acid which is effective acne, blackheads & whitehead fighter.
This is the best oil control I ever had.
But if you are very fair then stay away from it, otherwise it will make you look ghostly.
Also avoid if you have dry skin.

Pros:
  • Sun Protection from tanning
  • Gives Super Matte Look
  • Dirt Cheap

Cons:
  • it’s a bit coarser than the other ponds talcs
  • Not for Dry & very fair skin

My rating: 4.5 out of 5
